Gunter joined Advancy in 2022 and is Managing Partner Germany.
Based in Germany, he brings deep expertise in the chemicals and industrials sectors, developed through a career spanning both industry and consulting.
His work focuses on strategy and transformation topics for major corporate players and mid-cap PE in the chemicals and ingredients industry.
With a strong scientific background and hands-on operational experience, Gunter combines technical depth with strategic insight to support clients across complex challenges.
Gunter holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Heidelberg University and also studied at the University of Bergen in Norway.
He began his career at BASF SE, the world’s largest chemical group, where he spent eight years in different technical and commercial roles.
From 2012 to 2016, he was Global Head of Technology Development Mining and Head of EMEA Application Labs at Clariant.
He then spent over five years as a Manager at Roland Berger before joining Advancy.
