Christian is a Partner at Advancy, working within the firm’s Chemistry & Life Sciences practice. He advises both private equity funds and major corporates client on commercial and industrial strategy, with a particular emphasis on Advanced Materials, decarbonization, and sustainability-driven transformation.
In parallel, Christian leads internal initiatives on the integration of artificial intelligence into Advancy’s consulting methodologies, exploring how AI can enhance strategic thinking and value delivery.
An engineer and geophysicist by training, Christian began his career at TotalEnergies, where he specialized in sedimentary basin modeling in the search for new energy resources.
His cross-disciplinary expertise and curiosity-driven mindset make him a key contributor to both client impact and internal innovation.
Christian holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique (2008) and a Master’s in Petroleum Geosciences from IFP School (ENSPM, 2009).
His international background includes time spent living and studying in Beijing, and he nurtures a deep interest for Chinese civilization. He is also an avid reader of French and Russian literature, and has a strong appreciation for Italian trecento art.
