Following our historic milestone as the official sponsor of both the women’s and men’s ESSEC Rugby Teams (ERT), we are thrilled to look back at an extraordinary, trophy-laden season that perfectly mirrored our core values.

From the pitches of Montauban to the stadium of Lyon, these talented student-athletes proudly wore Advancy’s colors, pushing past their limits to secure unforgettable victories across France.

Retaining the Crown: A Historic Double-Double

The season concluded with spectacular, hard-fought achievements that proved the ERT’s elite mindset. Both teams entered their respective tournaments determined to defend their titles, and they delivered:

• Defending the French Business Schools Championship (ESC): Traveling to Montauban, the ERT was focused on achieving the first back-to-back championship in its history. After a gritty 13-10 semi-final win against ESCP, the team dominated the final against EPO, securing an 18-3 victory under the rain. The shield officially remains in Cergy for another year!

• Conquering the EY Top Eight in Lyon: Just a week later, the ERT faced an intense lineup at Stade Gerland. Overcoming an initial setback, they rallied together to defeat Kedge Bordeaux, DDLT, and ENSAM Bordeaux. In a thrilling 10-8 final against the home team, EM Lyon, an 18-player squad pulled off an incredible feat, securing the second Top Eight / French Cup double-double in ERT history.
