A Premier Talent Incubator Built on Academic Excellence

Born from the elite minds of ESPCI Paris – PSL and École normale supérieure, PORC has grown into a premier incubator for top-tier talent. Today, the club brings together brilliant students from Paris’s most prestigious institutions, including Mines Paris – PSL and Chimie ParisTech – PSL.

By merging academic brilliance with the grit of the rugby field, these student-athletes prove that high-level strategy and physical determination go hand in hand.

A Season of Triumphs and National Milestones

The past few months have been packed with intensity, high stakes, and remarkable achievements across all sections of the club:

• Regional Champions: The men’s team, the “Gorets,” made history by capturing the Île-de-France Promotion R3 title in a commanding 42-22 victory.

• Elite Maintenance Secured: A massive congratulations to the women’s teams, the “Gorettes.” Thanks to their unwavering determination, they have officially secured their spots to compete in Fédérale 1 and Fédérale 2 again next season.

• A Valiant National Run: In late May, under crushing heat, the “Gorets” concluded their incredible national championship epic. They bowed out by the narrowest of margins (35-30) against RC Béarnais, following a fiercely contested match fought right until the final whistle.

• R5 Section Regional Finals: On May 30th at La Grenouillère, three teams from the “five cochères” competed in the regional finals. The Men’s team finished 2nd and qualified for the French National Finals, while the Women’s team secured a fantastic 2nd place and the Mixed team locked in 7th.
