Recruitment procedure

As a key to our present and future success, we place great importance on our recruitment process at all levels in the pyramid. That is why the process is demanding and takes place in several steps.

Interviews take the form of two-way discussions and have a dual objective: assessing whether the quality of your application matches our requirements, helping you get to know Advancy better and convincing you that it is with us that your potential can best find its means of expression…

  • CV (resumé) + cover letter

The process starts by sending your CV (resumé) and cover letter to Carole Haffray, HR Manager: c.haffray@advancy.com

We pre-select applicants by examining the quality of your training and checking that your previous experience (placements for junior consultants) is consistent with the problems encountered in consultancy.

  • Preliminary interview with our human resources manager

This step allows Advancy to evaluate your personality (ambition, openness, drive, maturity, leadership), your communication skills (clear-headed, well-organized, convincing), your interest in teamwork (leadership potential, reliability, sensitivity) and your motivation to join Advancy.

From your point of view, this is an opportunity to get to know Advancy better and confirm the real motivation behind your application. So please feel free to ask questions!

  • Interviews with consultants

The previous evaluation factors (personality, communication skills, teamwork) are studied in more depth: each interview lasts about 60 minutes.

Problem solving is tested specifically using a case study. This tests your ability to identify, analyze and bring structure to problems. We place particular importance on your logic, your skill in handling figures (orders of magnitude, calculation skills), the creativity of your ideas (outside-the-box solutions) but also your pragmatism (practical solutions, ideas that are action-oriented).

For you this is an opportunity to meet consultants and gather information about areas of expertise, project types, assignment operations, etc.
